For a while, we have been talking about the LPC Ambassador Program and the upcoming launch. The program is finally here, and we are ready to start accepting ambassadors, As an LPC author, you can make the difference in this program’s success. On this page, I will explain the Ambassador program to you–how it works and what you, as an LPC author, can do to help it succeed. What is the Ambassador Program?
The LPC Ambassador Program is a direct sales model that will help us to sell all of our books to the public directly through a sales force that spreads the word through parties and online promotions. Essentially, this program is based on the Tupperware model–only we sell books, not containers. It is a one-of-a-kind program that has never been used for adult books.
Does it cost anything?
The ambassadors do need to purchase a starter kit. This includes 10/15/25 books depending on the package they buy as well as a custom store, marketing items, and one-on-one support to grow their businesses. Do I have to be an Ambassador?
No, you do not. However, becoming an ambassador is a great way to make money promoting other LPC authors’ books. (We already do that for free, so why not make money on it?) You are not required to be part of the program, and if you do not participate in it, your book will still be available for the ambassadors to sell and promote.
Will the Ambassadors be able to carry my book?
Yes. Ambassadors will be able to order all the books that are available in the e-store at http://store.lpcbooks.com/. The idea is to have ambassadors promote EVERYONE’s books. What the Ambassadors can order will not be limited in any way.
However, if you want your book offered in the starter kit and promoted as a top choice when the program begins, you will want to see the memo below about how authors can support the program.
If I become an Ambassador do I have to host parties?
No. You don’t have to host parties, but parties will help us to increase our fan base, which is the ultimate goal. You could run an Ambassador business completely online. If you are strong in social media outlets, that is a great place to drive Ambassador sales. How can you participate in the success of the Ambassador Program launch?
As an LPC author, you will be critical in the initiation of this program. Your involvement and support can make or break this program. Please note that these ambassadors have access to ALL of LPC’s books and will be actively promoting all of them. It is in all of our best interest for them to succeed.
Here are the ways you can help us to successfully launch this program:
#1- Social Media Campaigning for Ambassador Program
At the bottom of this page is a set of tabs with Tweets and Facebook graphics that will be easy to share with your followers. Please consider sharing these items frequently with your friends, fans, and followers to help us achieve our goal of 100 initial ambassadors in February.
#2- Donate to the Advertising Fund
Advertising is an effective way to help us build our team quickly. We would appreciate donations to help us advertise this new program more effectively. There is no right or wrong amount, and each donation will only be used for our media campaigns.
#3- Refer an Ambassador
If you know someone who would make a great ambassador, please share the news with them. The page for them to learn more is http://www.lpcbooks.com/become-an-ambassador/. For each ambassador you refer, you will receive a $20 cash bonus. In order to receive the $20, the ambassador has to be activated (which includes the purchase of a starter kit).
#4- Send Books to Be Featured in the Starter Kits
Would you like your book featured as one of the starter kit books? If so, please send the number of copies you would like to donate to 12954 State Route 34, Martville, NY, 13111. Those who send starter kit books will be recommended first as the ambassadors can pick their genres but not the titles of the initial starter kits. (There is no set number suggested, but please don’t send more than 10 until I let you know that they have all been used.)
#5- Become an Ambassador
Would you like to host parties online or in person and make money doing something completely new? You are able to sign up as an ambassador as well and have your own estore.
#6- Be a Participating Author
Participating authors will set the LPC Ambassador program apart from every other direct sales idea out there. Authors who are interested in doing Google Hangouts with their readers during Ambassador Book Parties as well as in person if there is a party close to you.
